Meals on Wheels SA - Warradale
These services focus on providing meaningful food and dining experiences to support social connection and wellbeing. Groups include, but are not limited to:
• Meals on Wheels branch lunches - MOW Customers can enjoy their regular Meals on Wheels SA lunch at their local branch with the company of other branch customers. An opportunity to meet the volunteers who prepare and deliver their meals.
• Coffee at the café or lunch at the pub - Customers are invited to meet at the local café or pub and enjoy the company of others whilst having a meal.
• Physical activity and lunch group - Customers can participate in a physical activity session specifically designed to meet the needs of older people, then stay on after the session to enjoy their Meals on Wheels lunch together.
• Cooking and food preparation classes - In a fun and safe environment, customers are assisted to prepare a shared meal, learn about food, the importance of good nutrition and food safety
