Uniting AgeWell Social Support (UVT)
Volunteer-based individual social support matching a volunteer with a client to provide social connection either within the home environment or within the community. The programs goal is to support the person’s continued independence by meeting their need for social connection and support their engagement and participation in their community. Uniting AgeWell provides both volunteer visiting, as well as phone based social support through the Telelink (group-based) and Chat-a-Ring (individual) programs.
