The Italian Day Centre provides Social Support Services both face to face (in the client's home) and over the phone. Our staff are in regular contact with our clients to prevent social isolation and to provide companionship.

Ethnic Link Services (ELS) is a statewide service for frail older people and their carers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to maintain their independence and to support them living at home in their communities. ELS uses bilingual, bicultural staff to provide language and support services for clients. ELS also facilitates social support groups for various CALD communities across South Australia. New languages are added as required.

Services can include friendly home visiting, social outings, transport, shopping assistance, accompanying to medical appointments and fortnightly shopping trips to Ballina and scenic lunch locations.

Bethanie Community Care - South West
Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Home and Community Care (HACC), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.
