Murray Mallee Aged Care Group Inc. was established in 1994 as a not for profit non-government organisation providing specialized in-home services, social support groups for ageing people in the Hills Mallee Southern, Murray Mallee area & Riverland regions.
Our Social Support Individual program provides assistance by a companion either in the home environment, or to accompanied activities. For example, shopping or visiting your favourite local facilities. You choose what you do and when you’d like to do it. We also provide telephone and website contact as part of this service.

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.

An individualised service where a volunteer is matched one to one with a client, based on similar interests, skills and personality to provide companionship, social engagement and support to engage in activities that enable the older person to maintain a sense of meaning and purpose, even in times of increasing frailty. Activities may include social outings, home visits, getting out and about in the community, learning together, sharing interests (music, cooking,crafts, model trains etc), doing things together (eg. shopping /movies/ arts), capturing and/or sharing life stories and more. All activities are personalised and are designed around the needs and interests of the client.
