The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.

Suncare Community Services - Gympie
Social support assists a care recipient to participate in their community life through meeting their need for social contact and accompaniment. Suncare will support care recipients to create a tailored care plan that meets their identified goals. Activities or services that can be provided may include:
• Assistance with shopping
• Friendly visiting services
• Participating in group outings to local areas of interest
• Support to go to local services such as dentist or post office
• Telephone based monitoring services
• Support to participate in local clubs or interest groups

Social Support
Carers support
Our services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services
are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities

Digital Literacy Foundation - Assistance with smartphones, tablets, and computers
Online assistance and community engagement support are available at your home throughout the NSW-based ACPRs of Central West, Nepean, Orana Far West, and Western Sydney
The Digital Literacy Foundation provides CHSP Social Support clients with one-on-one, face-to-face assistance to enable them to confidently and safely use their smart phones, tablets, and laptops, delivered by trained volunteers (“Tech Mates”).
We improve access to online information, digital services and communication channels with community, family, individuals, and government by helping people to get online confidently and safely.
Appropriate security measures in place to ensure that both Learners and Tech Mates are safe and supported. All staff and trained volunteers have taken a Criminal Record Check.
There is no charge for our services.

Morrissey is able to help you stay connected in your community, our friendly staff will be able to assist you to do your shopping, accompany you to appointments or go out for a meal or cuppa or simply stay in and have chat and a cuppa.
