Meals On Wheels Dubbo through its Social Support service aims to keep people active and connected in the community. Staff and volunteers are available to accompany senior residents for outings or at home, including:
- accompanied transport – for medical and/or social appointments
- excursions – regular day trips to regional towns, lunch, movies etc.
- at home services - visiting, daily telephone calls or weekly calls for a friendly chat.
