Liberty’s social support includes assistance with shopping, banking, bill paying, companionship and outings, appointments, pharmacy needs, letter writing. Basically any supports that keep you connected to your community and offers you independence.

Resthaven Community Services - Riverland
Social support: working with you, assistance is provided one to one by a companion (paid worker or volunteer) either at home or for activities in the community. Staff and volunteers are trained in supporting older people and people living with dementia.
Activities are based on your preferred interests and needs and may include:
• home-based activities such as cooking, gardening, dog walking, reading, playing games, assisting with technologies that help your connect with friends, family and community
• accompanying you to do your shopping/bill paying, and attend appointments
• supporting you to connect/reconnect with community groups and activities such as social or sports club, participating in exercise, attending a book club, church, football or the movies, singing in a choir, visiting friends.
Where needed staff or volunteers can provide transport and accompany you during activities.

Concord Community Food Services Inc.
Concord Community Food Services Inc. provides social support to individuals who might otherwise suffer from social isolation. Our Volunteers deliver meals each day and interact with clients. This socially connects clients to the local community. Our Centre Based Luncheons each month also provide social support. Additionally Concord Community Food Services Inc. works with CVS, The Community Visitors Scheme to provide further social support to the valued members and clients of The City of Canada Bay community.
CORE Community Services - Aged & Disability Care - (MCCS)
One on one or small multicultural social activities for enabling people to be independent and access the community where needed. We also offer home visiting, telephone contact and provide transport to medical appointments, community outings or shopping service as required.
