Our Social Support Groups offer social networking to older people living in the City of Botany Bay by providing opportunities to get out of the house, stay in touch and make and maintain friendships. Transport to and from your home is available to senior residents and their carers on Council’s community bus. Our weekly and fortnightly programs are tailored to meet your individual strengths and interests to promote social networking, build self confidence, and reduce social isolation. A weekly program for men only is available catering to the interests of older men. Activities include pool, darts, cards, cooking, and outings.
