Bayside Care and Support - Bayside and Glen Eira City Councils
Bayside Care and Support is a Bayside City Council run aged care service offering a range of individual social support options to residents of Bayside and Glen Eira to help you feel connected to your community and to enjoy social interactions. This can look different for everyone and may include things like taking you shopping and to pay your bills, a community outing or a visit to a cafe.
We can also arrange for you to join a social support program or go on a bus outing if that is your interest. The group programs provide socially enjoyable and stimulating experiences through a range of interest-based activities in a supportive environment at Council’s Black Rock Activity Centre, Leila Road Carenegie Centre or bus outings to variuous locations. Social support programs are available Monday to Friday. Bookings for individual support are made in advance. The service is available on a regular or occasional (as needed) basis.

Carers support
Our services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services
are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities.

Uniting CHSP South West Sydney
Uniting’s support workers can visit you at home for a cuppa, conversation, and companionship. They can help you to start a new hobby or project, play cards or games with you, and even support you to use digital technology so you can easily connect with family, friends, and your community. They can also accompany you to attend local events or classes, visit your favourite café or park, attend medical appointments,or give you an extra pair of hands to help with the shopping or bill paying.

Bell Program
This program is specifically designed for people with Low to Medium level Dementia/ Alzheimer’s living in the Campbelltown area. The aim of the service is to enhance general health and wellbeing of people living with dementia in a stimulating and friendly environment
The program also provides respite for carers.
Groups operate from our purpose built centre in Ingleburn, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Our activities reflect the needs, interests and backgrounds of the individuals who attend each program or group.
The program involves a variety of activities, including:
• Arts and crafts
• Games and quizzes
• Memory puzzles and reminiscing
• Singing and exercises
• Outings/ day trips i.e. local parks, picnics, etc.
Who is eligible for the service?
• People with a diagnosis of dementia or memory loss
• People living at home in the Campbelltown area
• Carers of people with dementia
Transport
Transport is provided to and from the centre. Our vehicle
