Nepean Food Services - Penrith
Social Support can be provided in different ways at Nepean Food Services. Our 'hot run' volunteers visit people to heat and prepare their meal. Our staff and volunteers accompany people in the community to enjoy a meal and social interaction. Nepean Food Services Meals On Wheels delivers a large range of nutritious meals to the homes of our clients. We provide a variety of different types of meals such as soups, omelettes, pasties, pies, sausage rolls, mini main meals, main meals and desserts. It is the quality, nutrition and diversity of Nepean Food Services main meals that provides our highest attraction. Meals are delivered Mon-Fri by supportive volunteers, 9:30am- 11:30am for frozen food items or between 11:30am- 1:30pm for deliveries that are heated and prepared. Nepean Food services also provides different service types such as luncheon clubs, outings and subsidised restaurant vouchers We take pride in our high standards of meals, services and support in our community.

Social Support assists in maintaining people to continue to live in their own homes by offering services which include shopping, banking, account paying, appointments and friendly visits.
Southern Shoalhaven Social Support
We offer a variety of social support activities for eligible people.
Volunteers can visit people in their own homes for up to 2 hours per fortnight or month and enjoy a cup of tea, play cards or just have a chat. Accompanied outings are provided to take people out for shopping, a hairdresser appointment or lunch at their favourite café or restaurant. This service can be arranged fortnightly or monthly for up to 2 hours.
We also facilitate special interest groups which run monthly- the Vision Impaired group meets on the last Friday of the month from 10.30am-12.00pm with morning tea provided.
The scrabble group meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 10.30am-12.30pm with morning tea provided.
The craft group meets monthly on Mondays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm with afternoon tea provided.
Transport can be arranged for all social support activities.
