Our BlueCare services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services
are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities
Ethnic Link Services
Ethnic Link Services (ELS) is a statewide service for frail older people and their carers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to maintain their independence and to support them living at home in their communities. ELS uses bilingual, bicultural staff to provide language and support services for clients. ELS also facilitates social support groups for various CALD communities across South Australia. New languages are added as required.
Mercy Services
The Social Support Service has caring volunteers who can assist you with the following:
- Home visits & phone calls
- In-home respite care
- Activities especially for people with dementia or cognitive decline
- Social and shopping bus trips
- Information, advocacy & referral
- Individual transport to appointments
- Helping with forms, bills, banking, shopping
- Pet care
CCNB - Help at Home
CCNB's Help at Home program can provide a range of services including personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, social support and in-home meal preparation.

This funding is specifically allocated by contract agreement for monthly intergrated social outings promoting cultural, religious and ethic diversity within the community
Community Care Centre - Gilgandra
Personalised support via home visits and telephone monitoring. Accompany clients when you shop or pay your bills.. You can be supported during planned social activities, trips and social interaction with lots of choice via a bi-monthly calendar of community activities linked to Community Transport
