Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT (including metropolitan, regional and remote locations) since 1984.
We organise quality services for people over the age of 65 (50 for Indigenous People) who need support with personal daily tasks and want to continue living in the comfort of their own home.
Southern Cross has locally based Regional Community Coordinators (Registered Nurses) who will work with you to establish an individualised care plan and to provide ongoing support supervision to ensure the quality of the service.
Local Support Workers will assist you to be a part of the community, socialise and complete practical tasks like shopping, going on outings, paying bills and going to appointments. They can also take you to social and community activities, help you achieve goals such as playing a sport, taking you out to get your hair done, helping you shop for gifts for loved ones and visiting friends and family.
