PetLinks – provides a pet-care service for the client to help them look after their pet, usually a cat or dog, at home on an ongoing basis.
PetLinks matches a volunteer with the client, to assist with dog walking, animal grooming and visits to the vet and to provide companionship. The service does not include animal boarding.
An initial visit to the client’s home will be made to check for a safe environment and assess the animal’s needs and to agree the services required and the times when the volunteer will visit.
Then a meeting to match the volunteer and client will be arranged, to agree the services required and the times when the volunteer will visit.
Please note this service is only available to residents of the City of Port Phillip.
Includes home visits to give pet-care, subject to volunteer availability.
ITSOWEL - ITALIAN SOCIAL WELFARE ORGANISATION, SOCIAL SUPPORT INDIVIDUAL
The service is delivered by trained staff who have cultural expertise and are proficient in ITALIAN and SPANISH languages. The service includes: friendly visits, telephone monitoring, accompanied shopping, bill paying, attendance at appointments, one on one support to attend community activities.
