City of Whittlesea - Home Support Services
Service is for people residing in the City of Whittlesea.
The service provides assistance with activities of daily living self-care tasks to support you to maintain hygiene and grooming.
The service is flexible to meet your needs which may include support with eating and preparing meals and snacks; showering; toileting; dressing; grooming; getting in and out of bed; and moving around the home.
Support also includes encouragement to improve your confidence & capacity for self management of the tasks.
Our Home Support Workers are highly trained, professional and adhere to safe practices of work in your home and in community.
There is an hourly charge for this service. Financial hardship is considered and your enquiries are welcome.
This service is available Monday to Friday between 7.00am-7.00pm

We will work with you to develop a plan that will support your goals, and helps you to maintain an independent and active lifestyle. We can provide personal care services such as bathing/showering, dressing, grooming and other bathroom assistance.

The aim of Personal Care is to assist eligible clients with tasks they would normally do for themselves but because of illness, disability or frailty or they cannot safely perform these tasks without assistance including Light meal prep, Showering assistance. Personal care workers do not assist with surgical or nursing duties such as wound dressing or dispensing medication.
