Our care team is trained and experienced in providing you with ongoing support when everyday tasks, such as showering, getting dressed and grooming, become too difficult to manage alone. We can also assist you with toileting, personal hygiene and incontinence management, and with general mobility and transfers. Our team is skilled and experienced in providing safe and dignified care.
Anglicare At Home - South Coast
Hobsons Bay Aged Services
This involves support with personal and hygiene tasks such as:
- Showering
- Dressing and undressing
- Grooming
- Food preparation
- Medication or safety monitoring
- Mobility
- Support with aids
- Toileting
- Eating
Personal Care is usually provided once, twice or three times weekly, on weekdays and close to a time frame you choose. Safety requirements such as non-slip surfaces, shower stools and seats, the installation of hand held showers, removal of shower screens and installation of grab rails are discussed and need to be in place before services commence. Shower cubicles are used in preference to baths. Sufficient space to allow for two people to move safely in the bathroom is required. If safety issues need time to be resolved, we can assist with a sponge wash where appropriate.

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.
