Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation offers Social Support groups, within the broader CHSP, we have designed a monthly calendar to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders over the age of 50 years with activities that foster social interaction and maintain their ability to live independently. Our groups operate at our facility at 150 Whites Road Lota or within the local community i.e. the Wynnum RSL & other organisations, offering various activities to help participants stay engaged and connected. Activities can include Thai Chi, Yarning sessions, Morning Teas & Lunches with guest speakers, arts & craft, cooking, bingo, midday melodies & day excursions.
