To provide entry-level support services to assist frail, older people 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) who need assistance with activities of daily living self-care tasks, to help them maintain appropriate standards of hygiene and grooming while maximising their independence with a strong emphasis on wellness and reablement. Tasks include: eating, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, getting in and out of bed, medications monitoring (prompting as per organisational policies NB: staff cannot administer any medications), moving about the house.
