Many older people want to remain active within their communities and to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Uniting Social Support Groups provide an opportunity for older people aged 65 years and over to attend and participate in social interactions conducted in a community-based setting. Activities are designed to develop and support social connection and independent living. We also operate group excursions to encourage people to develop new interests and engage more broadly with their community.
