We can support our customers to access a range of daily living aids, software, or equipment to meet their individual eating and drinking, food preparation, cooking, shopping, and kitchen safety needs.
An allied health professional will work with customers to develop a personal reablement plan and identify the most appropriate aids to meet their individual requirements and goals, whether this be:
• a long-term requirement, such adapting to a loss of function, learning new skills or managing ongoing health concerns
• or a short-term need, such as recovery after an accident or surgery.
My W.I.S.E. Choice volunteers can also support the customer at home to practice using their devices.
Note: My W.I.S.E. Choice does NOT cover home modifications, bathing showering and toileting aids, personal care or hygiene or mobility aids. Contact wise@mealsonwheelssa.org.au with any queries or for clarification of inclusions/exclusions
