In home Allied Health services focus on choosing, preparing and cooking food safely, including:
• supportive aids and equipment to help with eating, food preparation, cooking, shopping
• practical solutions for a safer kitchen
• advice about food safety in the home
• reablement plans to assist if stroke, injury or pre-existing conditions have affected a customer’s ability to eat and drink safely
• advice about eating well, nutrition
• exercise plans to rebuild or maintain strength, manage weight, build balance, prevent falls, or regain function
• ideas on suitable tasty snacks or meals to complement regular delivered meals or supplements to help boost energy levels

• Build skills and confidence around food and in the kitchen
• Stay mobile, fit and physically able
• Remain or become well-nourished
