Short-term Restorative Care (STRC) is an eight-week program designed to help clients recover from injury or illness, improve their wellbeing, and help them stay independent. STRC achieves this through the delivery of a time-limited, goal-oriented, multi-disciplinary and coordinated range of services designed for, and approved by, the client. As a client, you will work with a team of health professionals to work out what you want to achieve and the best ways to get there.
There are a wide range of services and activities available as part of STRC. These include one-on-one allied health services, weight management, pain management, group exercise classes, yoga, hydrotherapy classes, and much more.
To be eligible, you must be slowing down mentally and/or physically, need help with everyday tasks, and want to stay independent. This program is ideal for you if you would like to improve your health and wellbeing, or would like assistance to recover from an injury or illness.
