The service provides structured physical exercise activities in order to help community members maintain social connections and friendships as well as supporting independent living.
ANFE Community Care's Exercise classes allow participants to connect socially with old friends who have a common goal of physical maintenance or improvement. Attendees will also be able to make new social connections to like-minded members of the community with the added bonus of improving or maintaining physical well-being. A fully trained on-site exercise instructor leads the group and ensures all exercises are appropriate for attendees and conducted in a safe and comfortable manner.
Exercise classes are both structured to meet the general needs of the community whilst being flexible enough to meet the needs of individual attendees with a focus on both short-term restorative care and long-term physical maintenance.
