Uniting AgeWell’s Platypus Club, part of the Latrobe AgeWell Centre, supports older people to remain active and independent and living in their own communities. It offers a friendly and welcoming environment where older people can meet and socialise with others, enjoy interesting activities or participate in health and wellbeing programs to maintain independence and community connection. Designed to meet an individual’s needs, the Platypus Club operates once a week with a range of centre-based activities and community outings, designed to meet the needs and interests of the participants. At Uniting AgeWell, we support you to live well with choice and peace of mind. We recognise everyone’s needs are different. Whether you need a little help with everyday living or more intensive support, our flexible and responsive approach ensures you can get the most out of life, no matter where you are on your ageing journey.
