Description
Our Day Care Program has been a vital social support group for those over 65, including those with dementia, for many years.
The success of the Day Care Program stems from its ability to allow older members of the community to feel included and valued through structured, group-based activities, which also grow or support independent living.
Participants are able to regularly enjoy a day out with others who share similar interests, and have the option to take part in group-run activities such as exercise classes run by trained instructors, group prayer and card games.
The program includes a two course meal, as well as morning and afternoon tea.
