The Community Transport service is a Council funded program that provides a bus service to residents over 55 years and people who find it difficult to access other forms of public or private transport due to disability or frailty. This service offers transport to libraries and major shopping precincts within the City of Stonnington. The service best suited to individuals who may require physical support to reach their destinations, but are able to manage independently and without personal risk whilst in the community. The City of Stonnington's aged care services is committed to providing services to eligible residents in a fair and inclusive way. We recognise and consider the experiences and needs of our diverse community regarding (but not limited to) cultural diversity, genders and gender identity, sexuality, intersex people, age, health, socio-economic status, faith and spirituality, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples when planning and delivering services.
