Diversional Therapy Program
The aim of the service is to enhance general health wellbeing and independence of frail and isolated older people in a stimulating and friendly environment
The program operates from our purpose built centre in Ingleburn Monday to Fridays. We encourage clients’ individual choice and provide opportunity for clients to socialise while participating in fun activities that change constantly according to clients’ preferences.
The program involves a variety of activities, including:
• Arts and crafts
• Games and quizzes
• Guest speakers
• Other group activities suggested by clients
• Outings/ day trips i.e. Movies, Restaurants, Picnics, Museums, etc.
Who is eligible for the service?
• People who are frail aged
• People living at home in the Campbelltown area
• People who are socially isolated
Transport
Transport is provided to and from the centre vehicles modified to transport people with reduced mobility.
Meals
Morning tea and a hot lunch are provided
