Our Individual Social Support service offers assistance to older people who are seeking social connection. Volunteers provide one on one social support in the form of home visits, phone calls or social outings in the local community. We aim to support people to continue living independently and strengthen their connection to their local community. We do our best to match people with a volunteer that shares their interests, values and spoken language wherever possible. This service is for people aged 65 and over (50 years or older if you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person), who live in Inner West Sydney Local Government area.
