Southern Cross Care coordinate and provide home and garden maintenance services on behalf of the City of Mitcham. Basic maintenance essential to safety and wellbeing in and around the home, garden, and yard. Assistance includes, safety gardening, minor home maintenance, small plumbing jobs, changing light globes, installing battery operated smoke detectors and changing batteries, installing key safes, gutter cleaning – mainly single storey dwellings and rubbish and green waste removal. Approved Contractors may be engaged for working at heights gutter cleaning within the bushfire zone and bushfire clearance within 20m of the home.
