This program is specifically designed for people with Low to Medium level Dementia/Alzheimer’s living in the Campbelltown area. The aim of the service is to enhance general health and wellbeing of people living with dementia in a stimulating and friendly environment. The program also provides respite for carers. Groups operate from our purpose built centre in Ingleburn Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri and Saturday. Our activities reflect the needs, interests and backgrounds of the individuals who attend each program or group. The program involves a variety of activities, including arts, quizzes, reminiscing, exercises and day trips i.e. picnics, etc. To be eligible for the service there must be a diagnosis of dementia or memory loss, living at home in the Campbelltown area and/or Carers of people with dementia. Transport is provided to and from the centre. Our vehicles are modified to transport people with reduced mobility. Morning tea and hot lunch are provided daily.
