Community Care Occupational Therapy
ACT Health Community Care Occupational Therapy provides services to assist people with physical disabilities to retain independence and safety in their home.
Services provided:
• Assessment and recommendation of equipment and home modifications eg: shower chairs; raised toilet seats; wheelchairs; handrails; bathroom modifications; access ramps.
• Independent Living Centre – provides shop front display, information and assessment clinics for assistive technology and equipment (referral required for assessment clinic only).
Who can attend:
Service available for ACT residents who are not recipients of a Level 3/4 package
Hours of operation: 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)
Locations:
• Assessment Clinics held at Independent Living Centre: 24 Parkinson St, Weston
• Home visiting available
