Our Domestic Assistance service provides assistance with essential house cleaning tasks and daily living tasks required to maintain a healthy home environment.
Our support workers are not cleaners — they provide assistance with a range
of basic household tasks where illness, frailty or a disability prevents a person from undertaking tasks on their own. Council has approved cleaning products that Support Workers will bring to use in your house. You will need to provide cleaning cloths and approved equipment.
Assistance with meal preparation (preparation tasks/cooking) or unaccompanied shopping (shopping from a list) are also offered under Domestic Assistance. Assistance can be provided on a short-term or an ongoing basis and is aimed to maintain independence by complementing what you are able to do for yourself.
