Delivered meals (previously Meals On Wheels) are for people who may be nutritionally at risk, have difficulty preparing meals and/ or are socially isolated. Meals are proudly prepared in Council's Karralyka kitchen, which has a reputation for a high standard of appealing and nutritional options. Meals are delivered by our teams of volunteers, offering the added benefit of some social contact and 'safe and well" checks during the routine touch-base which enhances our meal recipient's wellbeing. Clients must be at home to receive meals.
*Pot luck meals are delivered frozen on a Friday for people who require meals on the weekend. Frozen meals are also available throughout the week. Food services allocate pot luck meals based on client individual dietary requirements.
