Description

MRC Tas Aged Care Services are able to provide entry level CHSP services to anyone who meets eligibility and specialises in providing services to people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background regardless of how long a person has lived in Tasmania and regardless of a person’s country of origin.
Depending on a person’s needs, MRC support services may be of the following:
• Group Social support – MRC provide a German Day Centre, Chinese Day Centre and Multicultural Day Centre, Bhutanese Elders Group, Healthy Living Group and Pontville Cemetery Group
• Individual Social Support -– Support to attend appointments, shopping, social outings
• Transport – help getting people out and about for shopping or appointments
• Food services – meals at community day centres or help with shopping for food
• Counselling services
