Churches of Christ Care Barcoo Living Multi-Purpose Service is a 34-bed, resident care service offering a range of personal care, therapies and accommodation.
The service is a joint Commonwealth and State/Territory initiative for rural and remote communities, which allows the local community and service providers to work together under one management structure to plan and improve health and aged care services.
Located in friendly Blackall, the town is situated on the Barcoo River and Landsborough Highway. It is a small country town steeped in history, including the home of the original ‘black stump.’ The main street is charming with its bottle trees down the centre and truly outback-styled buildings.
