Description

Coalfields NeighbourCare provides the following social support services:

Shopping Assistance

* Provide transport for you to do your own shopping
* Accompany you whilst you shop
* Shop on your behalf

These services can include:
* bill paying
* visiting the hairdresser
* going to the chemist
* going to speciality shops.

Reading Mail and Completing Forms. We are able to assist:

* in collecting your mail
* completing forms
* reading mail to you if you are experiencing difficulties doing so.

Companionship

* We can organise a volunteer to visit and sit and have a cuppa with you
* To water the garden
* Assist you to write a letter
* Sort through photo’s
* To go for a stroll with you

Medical Assistance

* Transport you to medical appointment – at times you may need to travel within a local radius and others you may need to travel long distance
* We are able to accompany you to your doctor’
