Dementia changes people in many ways.
Our Dementia Program provides individually tailored advice and assistance to families and people living with dementia at home in the southern region of Melbourne.
The aim of our program is support familes to increase coping abilities, reduce stress, to understand and know how to respond to the changes caused by dementia and to generally improve your overall quality of life.
A dementia specialist from our team will visit you at home. They will provide you with practical information about dementia and responding to the changes, and link you to other services that will help you both live as well as possible with dementia. We also have an Aboriginal Access and Support Worker to support families understand what is happening and where to get assistance.
Our program is FREE but short term. You may have your needs met in one visit or require some weeks of support. For more information please call our Access & Referral team on 1800 052 222.
