Home maintenance services do not require an Occupational Therapist's referral, and include: Installing lever taps; Servicing taps and replacing washers; Replacing light bulbs and fuses; minor carpentry work and repairs; minor furniture alterations and repairs; door fitting, installation and repair; lock installation and minor repairs; Battery operated smoke detector installation, inspection and battery replacement. Home maintenance services not provided include: Gardening maintenance; Lawn mowing; Domestic assistance; Cleaning, vacuuming or window washing; Gutter cleaning; Painting; Roof & gutter repairs.
