Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT (including metropolitan, regional and remote locations) since 1984.
We organise quality services for people over the age of 65 (50 for Indigenous People) who need support with personal daily tasks and want to continue living in the comfort of their own home.
Southern Cross has locally based Regional Community Coordinators (Registered Nurses) who will work with you to establish an individualised care plan and to provide ongoing support supervision to ensure the quality of the service.
Local Support Workers will assist you with everyday personal care tasks to help you get on with your day.
This may include:
- Assisting with eating and drinking
- Dressing and grooming
- Helping you to get in and out of bed and move around the house
- Providing exercise therapy (as prescribed)
- Showering or bathing
