Suncare provides flexible respite services to support Carer’s to maintain their Caring role. Suncare will support Care Recipients and/or their Carers to create a tailored care plan to support a healthy ongoing relationship for the Carer and Care Recipient. Community Access Services may be provided in an individual or in a group basis. Individual: Provide one to one structured activities to give care recipients a social experience to develop, maintain or support independent living and social interaction Group: Provide small day outings to give care recipients a social experience to develop, maintain or support independent living and social interaction In-home respite services: • In-home Overnight respite – home based overnight care for the Care Recipient and allow the Carer a night away or some time to catch up on needed rest • In-home Day respite – home based support visits to provide companionship, skill building and social interaction
