Café Connections is a series of 8 café style get-togethers for people who have a memory loss and their carers. We encourage the group to share their life experiences. The group will choose the activities they will enjoy together.
We will introduce you to different service providers so you can learn more about their services and ask any questions. The Café Connections Coordinator will discuss with you and your carer how we can best support you to attend and what you would like to achieve from the Café.
You do not need a carer to attend Café Connections. You can come by yourself. However, we encourage a partner, family or friend to attend with you.
Examples of activities that groups have chosen:- memoir writing, memory boxes, preparing a snack together, gentle exercise, dancing, producing art or keepsake items, photography, singing, poetry and story telling.
