Karabi Social Support provides a range of services which supports inclusion for the frail aged, people with a disability and their carers who are living within the Local Government Areas of Blacktown, Cumberland and Parramatta. Our Social Support staff or trained Volunteers aim to sustain opportunities and services that allow our more mature community members, and their carers, to participant in the wider community and to have a better quality of life. We provide opportunities to connect with the community and allow individuals to live in their own homes independently for as long as possible. This includes: Monthly Lunch Club, Seniors Exercise, Fortnightly Shopping bus, Knitting Group, Social Bus Trips, Monthly Bingo Day, one on one client shopping, assisting Clients to get to appointments, Pink Ribbon Day, Biggest Afternoon Tea and Seniors Week Activities. Karabi has its own van which is used for outings such as lunch club and social outings.
