Allied Health professionals, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers, can visit you at home or see you in a Therapy Centre. Allied help professionals can:
• help you set realistic and achievable goals towards independence
• review progress
• recommend and refer for home modifications, and helpful aids and equipment
• discuss ways in which tasks can be modified or managed so that they are easier to complete
• refer to or provide a range of therapy services or programs designed to meet your needs
• liaise with treating doctors or specialists
