Allied Health services are outreach from Glen Innes Community Health Services that focus on restoring, improving, or maintaining older people’s independent functioning and wellbeing. The focus is to assist and support older people to either maintain or recover a level of independence, allowing them to remain living in the community. Some services are able to be provided in clients homes, others are provided at the provider’s location.
The Allied Health and Therapy services work closely with HNELHD Community Nursing. The Allied Health Services in the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) will also work with you in partnership with Social Support Groups, GPs and other service providers.
