We are funded by Commonwealth Home Support Programme to provide Centre based Day Care(currently known as Social Support Group) for the CALD Indian Sub Continent Community (Special need group) Seniors. Connected transport (picking up seniors and dropping them back at home) to and from the centre and for outings is provided. Indian vegetarian ethno specific meals is provided at request.

Description

Social Support group encourages Indian Sub Continent seniors who have mobility and are above the age of 65 to join in group activities, simple yoga and exercises and gardening. They are picked up at home and brought to the centre to enjoy the company of other seniors and participate in activities such as art and craft, gardening, Satsang(spiritual talks) health information , music and games. Ethno specific meals provided on request. This service is funded by the Department of Social Services, Australian Commonwealth Government.
