The Active Minds and Wellbeing Program is a social support group program which provides a wide range of fun and flexible activities designed for people with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment and low to moderate level dementia.
Whether you want to meet new people, join in with activities and day trips, or you simply want to get out of the house and read a book or watch a film, our program can cater to your individual needs.
We offer a range of different activities because we know that when you spend your day enjoying your hobbies, being mentally stimulated, developing friendships or contributing to your community, your happiness, confidence and quality of life is improved.
Depending on your interests, strengths and goals some of the activities you can enjoy as part of the program are: gardening, baking and cooking, board games and puzzles, excursions and attendance at community events, walking, lawn bowls and quoits, arts and craft, and music and singing.
