CECAL Social Support Groups are for frail aged people, people with a disability and their carers. Held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 1.30pm people can enjoy good company, varied activities designed to keep the mind and body active , morning tea and a freshly cooked lunch. Individualised programs are developed to support people to be active and engaged. Monthly outings to clubs, parks and other places of interest are arranged for the enjoyment of participants. Every Wednesday for people who enjoy being out in the community the program takes trips to interesting, historical or recreational locations.Group suitable for physically well people (for more information please contact the centre) Support ratios are high with three paid staff and volunteers available to engage and support group members. We cater for people with memory loss/mild dementia.
Door to door transport provided. Bilingual staff.
