Description
The Community Bus provides a regular door to door service, to and from local shopping centres and community centres. Volunteer Drivers assist with client shopping bags and all buses have steps and handrails for easy access. Clients accessing the Community Bus need to be able to get in and out of the bus safely and without assistance.
The Community Bus is designed to support people who are unable to access normal public transport and unable to drive.
The Community Bus can be accessed as a flexible service on a short term basis or as an ongoing service.
Medical Transport not provided in this service.
