"We all need a lift sometimes get yours with Community Transport" Dungog and District Neighbourcare provides a flexible transport service for consumers to attend appointment, shopping and social visits. A wheelchair accessible vehicle is available for those who require it. Bookings need a minimum of 48 hours notice except in emergencies. Bus services run from Dungog, Gresford, Paterson and Clarence Town to Maitland, Raymond Terrace and local Dungog shops, contact the office for a timetable. Health Transport funded through Hunter New England Health is available for medical appointments in the Newcastle, Maitland and Raymond Terrace areas. Booking arrangements are the same as for Community Transport. Out of hours transport can be arranged in some situations with prior notice. This includes transport to and from Dungog Railway Station.
