The Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS) is a community controlled organisation that has been caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities for over 40 years. We provide high quality, flexible and responsive services to improve health outcomes for our clients. We believe that health is not just the physical well-being of an individual but it refers to the social, emotional and cultural well-being of the whole community, where individuals can achieve their full potential as human beings.
We proudly deliver culturally appropriate holistic care led by qualified and skilled Aboriginal Health Workers in partnership with allied health clinicians. Our services include: podiatry, physiotherapy, dietetics, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and community nursing as well as educational group activities that promote physical and mental health, including: Hydrotherapy, Gentle Gym, Elder's Circus and Diabetes Club. Transport to and from activities can be arranged.
