Based on an innovative design, the building takes advantage of the delightful rural and garden views available. Additionally, the home incorporates a "Care Farm". A first for the Manning area, the goal of the care farm is to improve residents' quality of life by providing an opportunity to engage with nature and animals in a safe and nurturing way. Co-located by the Manning Valley Anglican College, students of the school are regular visitors to Bishop Tyrrell Place enjoying the interactions with the residents and the care farm.
